Oh Peggy, How adorable!!! And thank you so much for linking this up...Is this the new dog you wrote about in your blog? If so, what's his/her name? So precious...and yes, "There's no place like home," for sure! Hugs, Cindy xo
Such a sweet picture, Peggy, with such gorgeous colors.. You know, I thought of putting home too. I'm such a homebody. The reason I started volunteering at the nursing home was because I found that I was really not socializing except with my church friends on Sunday and Thursday. Blogging has been a wonderful way of making new friends.
Yes, home is also my favorite place. I stay here too much probably. Taught school for 22 years and loved it. However, the peace and quiet here are what my heart yearns for at this point in my life.
So glad to meet you. Hope to get to know you better.
I love this picture! I can imagine myself sitting right there with a cup of tea and the dog surround by those beautiul flowers and water on a sunny morning. What a way to start a day! Maybe I'll just keep this vision in my mind so I can be there for awhile before I open my eyes each morning!
A gorgeous picture and wonderful thoughts Peggy. Now I can no longer take my walks my home is my refuge, my place of peace; except when the postman comes and the dog sets up such a racket you can almost hear him in the next county! Fortunately he only comes once a day! Blessings, June xx
You are so right. There is no place like home. We fail to think of that sometimes... A lovely old time theme in the picture of the Lady at the top of your page...very unusual!! And the dog just looking out on the world..sniffing the air and happy just where he is, it breeds contentment. God Bless You. CML
